Having the day off is quite a blessing. I can sew. If I wanted I could make plans for school all day, but that just isn't taking the day off! Bentley, my yorkie-bichon, and I are curled up at the sewing area making a day of it! Awhile ago I bought tan minky and a pre-sewn square patterned fabric to create a dog bed. Today I finally accomplished that project! One more craft project off the list. Bentley seems to like it too!
The best part is I did some quilting. Very faintly in the picture you can see a dog bone quilted into the dog bed. I took a class this November on free motion quilting. I used the press-n-seal method to free hand this dog bone on the bed. I think it adds to the cuteness of the dog bed!
Somehow, Bentley ended up on my lap again. HA, well when I kick him off again he goes to his new bed.
