With November starting next week, Christmas is just around the corner. I have made so many plans to make Christmas presents this year.
Today is the day I started completing a few of those projects. I have two nephews that are under the age of 6. I decided they didn't need toys this year. Instead they will be receiving book pillows from their aunt and uncle. (Must be the teacher in me?) Both boys love John Deere so I took a fabric that resembles fields to make the back. The front has John Deere green and yellow plaid. The book pocket is a find from JoAnn Fabrics, a John Deere printed burlap. Lastly, the handle is made from brown ribbon. I can't wait to see their faces on Christmas!
I have no other Christmas gifts bought or made, but this is a good start. What kinds of gifts are you making or buying for family this year?
