Wedding Quilt

Recent Happenings:

I have been sewing a blanket for my cousin who lives in New Jersey. Her wedding is coming up and I wanted to give her a gift from our family that she would love because we all live so far away from her and her sweetie. I bought the fabric at Fabric and Friends in Roanoke on May 5. This week is my last week to finish quilting it together and binding.

The plan started from a simple pattern I had laying around. I drew it on grid paper and each square represented 3".

Here is one finished block. The idea behind the blanket was a keepsake quilt for the wedding that people could sign. The tan sqaure in the middle is where family members sign.

A work in progress!
